Sunday Forums

Sunday forums are about sharing your interests, your work, your passions with the parish. Forums are a means for building community as we get to know one another and learn and grow in our faith. Please consider how you might offer a Sunday forum in the new year. Contact Susan Walker at ˂susankwalker2@gmail.com˃ or speak to her on a Sunday. The next forums are:

  • January 20, The Accidental Pilgrim: My Walk on the Camino, by Mary A. Kelly. Walking the Camino, the Way of St James was not something Mary expected to do in 2018. With pictures, commentary and your questions she will share what she learned as the accidental pilgrim.

  • January 27, Delegates to Diocesan Convention. Come and hear the results of the weekend's convention - resolutions passed, worship experienced, and Bishop Mariann's address.

Bishop´s invitation

Bishop Mariann is inviting diocesan and church leaders to be part of an evening gathering at Washington National Cathedral Friday, January 25, the eve of Diocesan Convention from 6:30 – 9pm. The guest of the night is Mr. Tony Morgan, author of The Unstuck Church and Executive Director of The Unstuck Church Group. In her invitation letter, Bishop Mariann says: “For those blessed churches that are experiencing a season of vitality, Tony also provides insights on how to sustain positive momentum and to strategically manage growth. Sustained health, with positive momentum, is the goal for all our churches. Thus, I believe that Tony’s message will be of value to all”. Visit this link to know more about the event and the guest.
