Two offices on the third floor of the building will become available about July 1st. Each office is 189 square feet, approximately square, 13.5 feet by 13.5 feet suitable for up to 3 people with desks. If you know of a non-profit that may be interested in this space, please have them contact Mike in the Parish office, <Mike@SaintStephensDC.org> as soon as possible as its unlikely this space will be available for very long.
Communications position at SSI
We will be saying farewell to the Rev. Yoimel González Hernández by the end of July. Although we hate to see him go, we are very happy and excited for him, as he will be the new Assistant Rector at St. Alban´s church, also in Washington, DC –adjacent to the Cathedral grounds.
As Yoimel won´t continue in his current position in our parish, we are looking for a new Bilingual Communications Coordinator. An announcement of the opening and a position description will be communicated in upcoming bulletins, email and advertised on several web sites. If you know of someone that you believe would be a good candidate for this position, please either notify Mike in the office ˂Mike@SaintStephensDC.org˃ or have them write to ˂Hiring@SaintStephensDC.org˃.

St. Stephen’s is a founding partner parish of the Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington network. Every year, Samaritan Ministry helps improve the lives of more than 1,000 people who are homeless or otherwise in need through the Next Step Program. For more than 30 years, participants have been welcomed by staff and volunteers into a safe, supportive environment that allows them the freedom to choose their own goals and pursue them! They are given the resources and support they need -housing and employment search guidance, coaching, referrals to partner service providers and more- to fulfill those goals. Participants are listened to and treated like family.
Please be generous in your support of this important ministry. If you have questions or need more information, contact our partner parish representatives, Jane Bishop, ˂email@example.com˃ or Michele Lewis-Muzzatti,
˂firstname.lastname@example.org˃. Thank you!
Sunday forums are about sharing your interests, your work, your passions with the parish. Forums are a means for building community as we get to know one another and learn and grow in our faith. Please consider how you might offer a Sunday forum this year. Contact the Rev. Susan Walker at ˂email@example.com˃.
