Misa Alegria

On Sundays, we celebrate the Holy Eucharist in Spanish at 5pm.

Misa Alegria, our Spanish-speaking congregation, formed in 2006. Many families and individuals -- including some with very limited spanish-speaking abilities -- are regular worshippers. The service isalways followed by a time for refreshments and fellowship.

Misa Alegria is led by The Rev. Sarabeth Goodwin, the Latino Missioner of St. Stephen's Church.

 

Misa Alegria marks many traditional Latino holidays, such as the Day of the Dead. Below are photos of the "ofrenda" constructed for the 2007 Day of the Dead celebration.
